Been busy!

Hey guys!

So the last week has been preeeetty busy! Where do I start? First off we've been doing a lot of getting-ready-for-school-stuff. I found most of my school courses (mostly art courses) got my first American bank account - and found out that Americans have a drive in for getting cash, LOL (lazy much) - met some teachers, been to my first sportsmeeting and almost forgot the most important, I GOT TO SEE THE SCHOOL INSIDE (and no I didn't take pictutes, so no pictures will be posted in this post). Besides that, my Brazilian friend just moved to his first hostfamily, which is pretty cool, cause theyre awesome! Their son Takoda (koda) is now in Chile and their older son Dylan just came home yesterday. I've been doing a bunch of stuff together with their family swimmingsholes and yesterday we went sailing on Lake Champlain, which was great. And I took my first step in another northern state, New York. Yeah thats right, the state with NEW YORK (wait for it) CITY. Too bad we only spend half an hour there, lol...

Well I'll let you see some pictures now (if you haven't already looked - NOOB)

So a few days ago I decided to finally buy my long awaited camera, and here it finally is! And incase you're wondering if the next few pictures were taken by my new camera, then the answer is YES!

aaaaaaaand my hostmom's beautiful vegetable garden!

Henrique's birthday this sunday. Belive it or not I helped making that cake!

So here I am making my first American chocolate chip cookies!

 COOKIIEEES - WEEE!

that's all.

BERRIES!

Umm 3 days ago I arrived in Burlington aiport (the biggest city in Vermont) after like 24 hours of flying and waiting in Chicago airport, so I was pretty exhausted, but woke up the day after at 1 pm where my hostmom made a sandwich served with chips + ben and jerry’s for desert. I guess I can live with that, haha! Even though that might sound like a typical American family, it’s not. I’m pretty amazed that almost every vegetable/fruit we eat is from the garden. My hostmom is really great at gardening so every summer she does all the vegetables they eat the most herself. – AND NOW YOU'RE PROBABLY WONDERING WHY IT’S CALLED BERRIES (evil laugh) - you know the name of my post........... Well, this is why it’s called berries, cause since my hostmom is really good at gardening, she covered the whole farm with blackberries, SO AWESOME! So I've been picking a lot of berries the last two days like a lot of berries! (that's right a lot x2) And you probably never thought that I would become one of those persons who eat healthy food all the time? No, well here I am, in America eating healthy food, lol! Well that was my first post in America and hopefully there will be more. If not then I’m probably kidnapped. Ok, BYE!

Oh, and I almost forgot, a Brazilian exchange student is also staying at the house, he is really great. (check him out on Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/rikotaribas)
